| Are you ready for a long -term relationship? That's what buying a dog or puppy is, a commitment for an average of 12-15 years. It is important to do research prior to purchasing your companion. It can make dog ownership a happy and rewarding experience. There are several factors to consider. First, determine if you can make the level of commitment of money and time necessary for the puppy/dog's wellbeing and yours. Second, choose the appropriate breed for your activity level and personal criteria. Thirdly, and most importantly, look carefully at the breeder of the dog/puppy. This is critical. If you buy a puppy from an ethical breeder, they can help you if a mistake was made on the first two points! |

Vizsla puppies are much like any other puppies in most respects. They are very cute, cuddly
and will tear up your possessions if you turn your back for a second. The difference lies in their
long puppyhood, sometimes 2-3 years! Combine this with their intelligence, exuberance, and
mischievousness raising a Vizsla puppy can be both a joyful and aggravating experience. Many people are drawn to the Vizsla because of it's attractivness, but their other characteristics should be considered as the primary deciding factor. If you decide you can live with a vizsla at it's worst, then everything else will be a bonus! |
